Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC, CAS 9004-34-6) is a purified, partially depolymerized cellulose obtained by treating fibrous pulp with dilute mineral acid, followed by purification and spray drying. PH102 is a granular, coarser particle-size grade engineered for direct compression, offering excellent flow properties and compactibility without the need for pregranulation.

It is practically insoluble in water, dilute acids, alkali solutions and common organic solvents, and is chemically inert, making it one of the most versatile and widely accepted excipients in oral solid-dosage form manufacturing.

Application Fields

Nutritional Supplements: a concentrated magnesium source for tablets, capsules, chewables and mineral premixes.
Food & Beverages: used as food additive INS 530 for nutrient fortification and as an acidity regulator in food processing.
